Opening day books out in hours. HuntReserve caps guns on each field, takes payment up front, gets waivers signed before anyone parks, and keeps season members on the books. Then it puts your fields in front of hunters searching for dove hunts near them.

The short answer
Wingshooting software runs the booking side of a dove field or bird-shooting operation: it caps guns per field per day, takes payment when the hunter books, gets every shooter's waiver and license in before they arrive, and tracks season members. HuntReserve handles all of it and adds a website and marketing that fill your fields.

Built for how you run
Generic booking tools treat a hunt like a kayak rental. Here are the parts of the job they get wrong for dove fields and wingshooting operations, and how HuntReserve handles each one.
Daily gun limits per field and payment at booking, so you know exactly who's coming.
Field memberships and multi-hunt passes with a running ledger.
Waivers and licenses done before the hunt; Camp Mode covers walk-ups with no signal.
Cancellations go straight to the next hunter in line.
How it works
From the first search to the review after the hunt, here's what you and your hunters actually do.

Hunters land on your website from Google, AI search or an ad, pick a hunt, a date and party size, and pay a deposit to your Stripe. For private hunts you approve them first and they book with a one-time code.

The lead hunter shares a link with the party. Each hunter registers, signs your waiver (with a parent co-signing for kids) and uploads their license, which is read and checked against their name. The Check-In Board shows who is still missing something, with one-click reminders.

Balances are invoiced automatically before the hunt, with reminders if they're late. If you turn it on, each hunter pays their own share. Payments, refunds and expenses flow into QuickBooks.

Base Camp shows today's parties, the weather and river levels. Camp Mode signs late paperwork with no signal. After the hunt, log the harvest, file tag reports, track processing, and collect each hunter's feedback and photos.
We call you, walk through HuntReserve with your own hunts, and set up your packages, waivers, payments and website.

Buyer's guide
Dove fields live and die by a few weeks in September. This guide covers what wingshooting software has to do in that window, and the rest of the year.
It has to sell a fixed number of guns per field in a few hours, collect the money right then, and keep anyone from showing up unsigned. Opening day is the busiest day on most dove calendars, and it is the day a phone, a notebook and a cash box fall apart.
Here is what that looks like in practice:
If the first weekend goes well, Open Spots lets you push a later date to the hunters you've already approved and see who books from it.
Give each field, or each morning and afternoon shoot, a hunt type of its own, priced separately and capped at the number of guns it can safely hold. A sunflower field that holds twenty guns and a smaller wheat field that holds eight then fill on their own, and the Hunt Calendar shows each day against its limit. Blackout days keep closed dates off the booking page.
Sketch every field and shooting stand on the property map, then pin the day's harvest to the spot it came from. After a season you can see which fields held birds and which didn't, which helps when you plan plantings and pricing for next year.
Add-ons ride on the same booking. Sell shells, a lunch, bird cleaning or an extra afternoon as add-ons, and the total updates as the hunter picks them.
It should keep members, dues and a running ledger next to your day hunts, so one system knows who has paid for the season and who is buying one afternoon. Dove clubs and season-pass shooters are the steady money behind a short season, and they deserve better than a spreadsheet.
Members log in to a hunter portal to see their hunts, documents and harvest photos. A member's guest still registers and signs their own waiver through a link, so you are never guessing who is on the field.
Payments get recorded however they arrive. Card payments run through your Stripe, and cash, checks, Venmo and Zelle are logged against the member's ledger. Everything syncs to QuickBooks Online for your accountant.
Every shooter should be registered, signed and licensed before they reach the gate. The person who books sends a link to the rest of the group; each shooter enters their own details, e-signs the waiver and adds a picture of their license, and AI checks the name on the license against the waiver signature.
Dove shoots draw families, and a shooter under 18 signs together with a mom, dad or legal guardian, both on one form. For walk-ups or a late arrival in a field with no signal, Camp Mode on a tablet takes the signatures and a license photo offline, then uploads them once there is coverage again.
Doves are migratory game birds, so your shoot runs inside the federal migratory bird hunting regulations as well as your state's season dates and limits. Put the rules your hunters need to know in the what-to-bring reminder.
On HuntReserve, it is $159, $329 or $899 a month, each with the full platform and a custom website. The smallest package, Opening Day, adds a 2% fee on online card bookings. Full Draw and Trophy Class drop that fee to zero and add a marketing team. Stripe's standard processing rate applies on all three, in your own account, and you can pass it on.
A short season changes the math. Full Draw costs $2,040 more per year than Opening Day, which equals the 2% fee on $102,000 of online card bookings. Below that, you are paying for the marketing, not the fee savings, so decide on whether you need more shooters. When you run ads, the ad budget itself goes directly to Google and Meta, not through us.
Use wingshooting software if more than one person shoots per booking, if you sell season passes, or if a field has a hard gun limit. Generic booking tools handle a single buyer and a time slot well, but they usually stop at the person who paid.
On a dove field the buyer is often one of six friends, half of them with kids. You need every shooter's waiver and license, a cap per field rather than per time slot, members and day shooters on one calendar, and a way to refill a cancelled gun on a Friday night. Those are the jobs this kind of software exists for, and the reason to look past a general scheduling app.
Dove hunters search close to home and close to the season, so a dove field wins with local search, a clear booking page and good reviews before September. Searches like dove hunts near me, shown in the table above, are local by nature.
HuntReserve, built together with a national marketing agency, gives outfitters, guides, lodges and fishing charters booking, payments, waivers and marketing in one place. A site on your domain comes with any package. With the two larger packages, a marketing team works your local SEO, runs Google and Meta ads in the weeks before opening day, writes monthly content and handles AI search, so assistants can name your field when someone asks where to shoot doves nearby.
Reviews compound it. After each shoot, hunters rate the day; four- and five-star ratings go to your Google listing and lower ones reach you first. If you also run quail or pheasant hunts, see our page for plantations and preserves, or request a call.
Packages
Every package includes the full HuntReserve platform and a custom website. Full Draw and Trophy Class add the marketing team. Ad spend is paid directly to Google and Meta.

Questions
Yes. Each hunt type has its own deposit rule, so you can take the full price at booking for opening day and a deposit for a multi-day package. Balances that remain are invoiced automatically with a pay link before the shoot.
HuntReserve offers the open gun to the first shooter on the waitlist, who has 24 hours to claim it by link. Nobody on your end has to make a phone call or keep a list on the fridge.
Yes. Young shooters register with everyone else, and their mom, dad or guardian adds a second signature to that same waiver. The Check-In Board flags any youth still waiting on an adult's signature, so you can nudge the family before the shoot.
Yes. Add your rooms or cabins with how many each sleeps and the nightly price, and lodging is priced into the booking alongside the shoot. Meals and extras go on as add-ons, and an occupancy grid shows who is staying when.
HuntReserve does. Log each shoot's harvest by species, field and guide, and season totals, success rates and birds per hunter build themselves. If you run retrievers, the kennel logs every retrieve per dog.
No. HuntReserve runs in the phone's browser, so a shooter opens the link, registers, signs and uploads a license without installing anything. You run the field from a phone, tablet or computer the same way.
Yes. Invite staff with their own access: the Check-In Board shows every party and who is registered, signed, licensed and paid. Owners and managers see the money; field staff see the day's hunts.
